About Me

Hi! I’m Caroline Buddendorf (They/She)

Growing up in Lancaster Pennsylvania, I started acting and dancing from a very young age.

When I moved to Virginia just in time for high school, I studied theater at the Thomas Dale Specialty Center for Visual and Performing Arts. I then moved on to major in theater at James Madison University. At JMU, I acted on the main stage in two plays (just before covid), was on the competitive hip hop dance team, and was a part of the Improv. comedy group. Right in the middle of the pandemic, I graduated with my BA in 2021.

Fresh out of college, I moved to New York, and studied with JJ Perez. After about a year in New York, I flew out to LA to act in a short. I came home from that trip and decided that in three months, I was going to pick up and move there. So I did!

Since moving to LA at the end of 2022, I have gained representation from Sovereign Talent Group, and management from MGMT Artists. I have studied with John Rosenfeld, Groundlings, and, currently, in Zak Barnett’s Master Class. I have been acting in indie films, commercials, costume designing, and most recently, writing, acting in, and directing my own short.

In the future, I hope to embody more comedic roles and show off my improv chops, to act in period pieces, to have more opportunities for rolls that involve movement and dance, and to be a part of more queer projects.
