They catch up, they laugh, they bicker, they smoke, they get the munchies. Off to the local convenience store they go, when they are met face to face with a man robbing the place. But they’re high so…It’s kiiiiiinda funny.

Post Production

After finding out the costume warehouse he works at is bankrupt, Noah goes from minimum wage employee, to liquidation the entire business in the course of two months for his avoidant boss. With the help of his coworker Sydney, they set up a daily sale. They could have never guessed just how successful it would be. With the weight of their boss’s crippling debt, and the opportunity to get rich QUICK, they push through the long hours and eager customers until they reach their breaking point.

POST PRODUCTION

Fresh out of a break up, we see a young artist’s monotonous life. Wake up, go to her day job, come home, make a depressing dinner, repeat. She is lacking inspiration in her life, but finds herself paying attention to the beauty of the regulars at her coffee shop. Inspired by them, she sketches their characteristics during lulls in the work day. She falls asleep sketching the perfect culmination of all of them one night, and wakes up to find the paper missing from her notebook, torn out. She shrugs it off and goes back to her routine. When she starts her day, she finds her drawing, human size, sitting at her dining table. A life size paper man. Lionel. We then enter a surreal world where they fall in love. She brings him to parties, adventuring, and they fall into a routine of their own. She begins to feel a bit trapped in the relationship, inconvenienced by all of the things that come with having a paper boyfriend, but she has a solution, leading to her new journey in self discovery.
